ActivitiesBeing set along "The Great Ocean Road" which is world renowned Apollo Bay offers tourist many activities in the surrounding areas. Most within an hours drive which includes the Otway National Park and its famous Fly Tree Top Canopy Walk which you can visit at "www.otwayfly.com". Cape Otway lighthouse is definitely one of the highlights of the great ocean road surrounded by the national park it served as a beacon of hope for ship's captains and passengers entering the "eye of the needle" (western entrance to Bass Strait) on the rugged and sometimes dangerous south-western coast of Victoria. There are guided tours of the lighthouse from 9am each day. There is surfing, kayaking, fishing / sightseeing, argo buggies, flights over the 12 apostles, horse riding, sailing, wineries, eco tours, glow worm tours and many water falls around Apollo Bay. Not to mention several pubs, restaurants, bars, cafes and assorted shops all located on the Great Ocean Road in Apollo Bay. There is also a weekend market in the park located across the road from the shops. All in all Apollo Bay has many interesting sights and activities to ensure our guests have plenty to do during the days and nights.
